Dili, March 19, 2026 — His Excellency José Honório, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, presided over the 18th meeting of the Coordinating Committee of Universities and Higher Education Institutions (CUIS – Portuguese acronym), held in the MHESC meeting room in Colmera.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the final presentations and evaluate the results and recommendations of research conducted by UNTL and IOB, funded through public grants awarded in 2025.
CUIS members also discussed other relevant matters, notably the establishment of a doctoral school in Timor-Leste.
