DΓli, 15/04/2024: The Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, Science, and Culture in cooperation with the Information and Communication Technology Agency (TIC Timor, I.P), is conducting training for MESCC employees and technicians on the use of the Cloud GoTL and Webmail System at the MESCC Hall, Colmera, DΓli.
The activity aims to facilitate the use of digital resources and streamline the administration system, especially in archiving and utilizing digital communication means, reinforcing the service management system of this Ministry. This training aims to equip employees in the field of ICT and contribute to the implementation of the Digital Government system.
Another main objective of this training is to develop competencies among employees to use the Cloud GoTL system for document and data archiving, and to utilize official email as a means of institutional communication.
The participants being trained are 20 individuals representing each division of the Ministry, and the trainers for this activity are from TIC Timor, I.P. As planned, the training spans 4 days and is taking place from April 15th to 18th, 2024.
Prior to this activity, TIC Timor I.P and MESCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of information technology to reform the administration system and implement electronic government, as well as to provide technical support for some services, particularly in Internet connectivity, the development of the official MESCC portal, and other relevant areas.
This activity commenced with a presentation on the role of TIC Timor IP and the aforementioned system by the Head of the Development, Implementation, and System Integration Department, Mr. Geovanio Frederico Vinhas. Lastly, the official opening session was conducted by the Director-General of Planning and Finance, Mr. HernΓ’ni Viterbo da Costa Sores, accompanied by the Coordinator of the Public Relations Unit, Mr. Mafaldo Lopes Victor, along with technicians from TIC and MESCC.
