Dili, 15/04/2024: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, through the National Directorate of Higher Education Curriculum, is proceeding with the dissemination of the “National Standard Curriculum for Higher Education” for its implementation in Higher Education Institutions in Dili.
This activity is taking place as planned in ministerial dispatch no. 09/II/MESCC/2024 and aims to disseminate the procedures and rules to standardize the curriculum system among Higher Education Institutions in Timor-Leste, as defined in Decree-Law no. 03/2024, January 12, on the Legal Regime of the National Standard Curriculum for Higher Education in Timor-Leste.
These sessions begin with a meeting of the team with the academic structures of the institutions to present the program and at the same time deliver the dissemination documents. During this activity, the team also monitors the curriculum systems used in HEIs, from the beginning to the most recent, to support all their processes.
This first dissemination activity was carried out by the MESCC team in some Higher Education Institutions in Dili, such as IOB, UNPAZ, UNTL, ISC, DIT and UNITAL. As planned, this activity will take place in all Higher Education Institutions throughout the national territory in order to monitor the implementation process.
