Baucau, May 29, 2026 — The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MHESC), through the National Directorate of Science and Technology (DNCT), held a National Seminar on “Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Higher Education in Timor-Leste” for faculty members and students.
The seminar featured presentations by national experts on the opportunities, challenges, and responsible use of AI in higher education.
𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:

The seminar brought together institutional representatives, faculty members, students, and academic partners, reinforcing the commitment to modernizing higher education and preparing Timorese youth for the digital age.
