Dili, 25/07/2024: His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Culture, Dr. José Honório, together with his technical team, held a meeting with the delegation from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, in the MESSK hall, to discuss the cooperation to be implemented between the two institutions mentioned, in the area of Higher Education and human resource capacity building.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the future cooperation to be established between the two institutions, especially in the area of higher education and human resource capacity building opportunities, which will be offered by Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Timor-Leste, such as the provision of scholarships and other opportunities.
Furthermore, with this opportunity, the Ministry can also identify priority areas that match the needs of Timor-Leste, especially specialized areas, in order to define a cooperation agreement that will be implemented in the future.
