Dili, 01/10/2024: His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, Dr. José Honório, participated last Tuesday in the farewell ceremony for the Timorese students who were selected for the Indonesia Aid scholarship program, which took place at the Indonesian Cultural Center in Dili.
In total, 70 students were selected for the program, and they are currently in the preparation process to continue their studies in Indonesia at the following institutions: University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Agricultural Polytechnic, and State School of Accounting (names translated from Indonesian).
In addition to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, Dr. José Honório, the session was also attended by His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Mr. Marcos da Cruz, the students, representatives, and senior officials from relevant institutions.
