by Kupang, 28/04/2024: A team from the Partnership and Cooperation Unit (UPC) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, led by Coordinator Mr. Paulo Mariano, conducted supervision activities of the education attachรฉ service of the ministry stationed in Kupang.
The objective of this activity is part of the UPC’s service as defined in the ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ’๐ฌ ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐, ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐, ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐, which grants competence to supervise and monitor the activities and services of the ministry’s attached offices stationed abroad.
The total services of the MESCC office stationed in Indonesia consist of one (1) education attachรฉ office located in Jakarta, Indonesia, with its three (3) assistants, one (1) in Jakarta, Indonesia, and two (2) stationed in Kupang and Denpasar, Bali.
During this activity session, the team held a preliminary meeting with the Consulate of Timor-Leste in Kupang, Mr. Joaquim Fernandes, and his team, before also observing the work of the assistants.
Therefore, the supervisory team is comprised of the UPC, along with the Minister’s MESCC Office Advisor, and the MESCC Inspection and Audit Office Deputy.
