by Dili, February 20, 2025 – H.E. the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Culture received a courtesy visit from H. Excellency Jessica Maria López Piña, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Venezuela, residing in Singapore.
The meeting took place in the Meeting Room of the Minister’s Office in Colmera, with the aim of discussing the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries to strengthen cooperation. Venezuela expressed its willingness to grant scholarships to Timorese students in the areas of Agriculture, Health, Petroleum, Architecture, among others, according to the needs identified by Timor-Leste. #Media_MESCC
