Surabaya, 15/06/2024: A technical team from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Culture, led by the Coordinator of the Partnership and Cooperation Unit, Mr. Paulo Mariano, accompanied by the UPC Advisor, Mrs. Dalia Suzana, along with the Education AttachΓ© in Indonesia, held a meeting with Ciputra University in Indonesia to discuss future cooperation with Timor-Leste through MESCC in the area of human resource development.
The objective of this meeting was to technically discuss the future cooperation to be established between these two institutions in the area of human resource development in Timor-Leste, namely through the offer of scholarships in the fields of Management, Medicine, and Tourism. Additionally, the discussion also included other programs such as joint research, exchanges, community service, among others.
Through this cooperation, the ministry will be a source of collaboration between the aforementioned university and other higher education institutions in Timor-Leste, contributing to the strengthening of the quality of the higher education system in the country.
Furthermore, on the agenda of this session, Ciputra University offered the opportunity for Timor-Leste to participate in the Apple Academy program, funded by the international company Apple from the United States, offered to ASEAN countries. Through Ciputra, Timor-Leste will also be able to participate in this program, providing opportunities for Timorese who are passionate about the field of technology, especially in program innovation, to express their skills and abilities in the area of technology, particularly with Apple’s own products.
