by Dili, May 27, 2024: A technical team led by the National Director of Higher Education, Mr. Higino Alves, conducted monitoring of the Master’s and Doctoral postgraduate programs at the National University of Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL), at the UNTL building in Caicoli, Dili.
The purpose of this activity was to monitor and observe the implementation of existing postgraduate courses at UNTL, specifically the Master’s and Doctoral programs, to assess their operational facilities, learning processes, human resources, and the statutes of licenses in force, in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of these courses.
Therefore, the National Directorate of Higher Education, as a division of MESSK, in accordance with the competence defined in Article 15 of Decree-Law 56/2024, of September 6, on the Organization of MESSK, which confers competences to DNES, carries out services responsible for the promotion, execution, and implementation of policies defined at a higher level regarding organic administration and development of the technical university higher education system in accordance with the legal terms in force.
In this session of the activity, the team met with the program’s structure, including the teachers responsible for teaching in the respective programs.
