The National Directorate of Higher Education, of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Culture, convenes a meeting with representatives of the structures of Higher Education Institutions, namely, UNITAL, UNDIL, and ICS, in the MESCC hall, Colmera Díli, from July 23 to 25, 2024, to present the monitoring results report conducted by the DNES team over the past few months through its technicians.
This activity follows up on the monitoring results defined in the schedule of the National Directorate of Higher Education (DNES) and is also part of the 2024 Annual Action Plan to monitor Public and Private Higher Education Institutions established throughout the territory of Timor-Leste.
The main objective of this meeting is to present the monitoring report carried out so far by the DNES technical team in the Higher Education Institutions, allowing for a discussion with these institutions to solve the problems and challenges identified by the Ministry according to the needs existing in the Universities and Institutes.
According to the plan, this activity will continue to be carried out in all Higher Education Institutions existing in Timor-Leste to ensure the effectiveness and quality of operations and systems according to the standards established by the Ministry.
Attending the meeting are the DNES Director, Mr. Higino Alves, along with representatives of the structures of the referred Higher Education Institutions, and the technical team of MESCC itself.
