by Dili, 02/27/2024: The technical team of the National Directorate of Higher Education carried out monitoring of several higher education institutions (public and private) accredited in the Municipality of Dili in order to observe the procedures and operations in all accredited higher education institutions.
This activity aims to observe the conditions under which administrative and academic procedures are carried out in the aforementioned institutions so that, in the future, improvements can be made and their quality of service can be guaranteed.
In this activity, the team carried out an inspection of the facilities and equipment that exist, namely the libraries and facilities for teaching and support practices at each institution. As part of this observation, the team detected some problems and identified some challenges to overcome in these institutions. It registered these in order to cooperate in the search for solutions and provide support in improving their quality.
This activity took place in each faculty and department, including the academic structures in the following institutions: IPDC, ISFIT, JSI, ISC and UNDIL.
According to the plan, the same activity will take place in all accredited higher education institutions in the Municipality of Dili and in other municipalities.
