The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MHESC) conducted working visits to the Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Politeknik Pariwisata Bali) and the Bali State Polytechnic (Politeknik Negeri Bali).
The purpose of the mission was to gather information on the academic structure, curriculum system, management, and infrastructure of these institutions, with the objective of supporting plans to establish the Polytechnic of Tourism and Hospitality in Lospalos.
At the conclusion of the meetings, both parties committed to formalizing cooperation agreements in 2026, including scholarships, faculty exchanges, and specialized technical training in the tourism sector.
During the trip, the Minister also met with the Consul of Timor-Leste in Bali, Ms. Carolina Gusmão, as well as with Timorese students—both scholarship recipients and non-scholarship students—residing in Bali.
