DΓli, 06/19/2024: A team from the Inspection and Audit Office (GIA, Portuguese acronym), led by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, Mr. Domingos Barros, accompanied by GIA technicians, conducted an inspection at the Catholic University to assess the activities and operational functionality of this private higher education institution.
The purpose of this inspection was to observe and directly assess the conditions, activities, and operational functionality of the Catholic University, particularly the support facilities that aid the learning processes, human resources, and the systems currently used by the institution.
Furthermore, the inspection aimed to bring universities closer to listening to the recommendations and challenges faced by the Catholic University, particularly regarding the needs that support its operational processes and functions.
In this context, the Inspector General stated, “The Catholic University, as a new institution with a relatively short existence, has already demonstrated significant progress, especially in terms of resources that are sufficient to support its operational functionality.”
