by Díli, 26/08/2024: His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, Dr. José Honório, held a meeting with the delegation from the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP – Portuguese acronym), in the MESCC meeting room, Colmera Díli, to discuss future cooperation between the two institutions.
The main objective of this meeting was to discuss the future cooperation to be established between the UCP and the Ministry, particularly in strengthening Portuguese language training, training teachers who teach Portuguese, training in Human Resource Management, and other areas such as technology. Additionally, another topic on the agenda was the discussion of establishing a doctoral school in Timor-Leste.
Participating in this meeting were the Magnificent Rector, Dr. Isabel Capelo, and her team, accompanied by the Director-General of Higher Education and Science, Mrs. Maria Filomena Lay Guterres, as well as national and international advisors from MESCC.
