Jakarta, 20/07/2024: H.E. Dr. José Honório, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MESCC), and his team held a meeting with Timorese students currently studying at higher education institutions in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The purpose of this meeting was to hear about the challenges and aspirations of Timorese students studying in Jakarta, to identify solutions, and to gather recommendations from the students. These aspirations can be recorded to contribute to the development of the higher education sector in Timor-Leste.
The meeting was attended by Timorese students studying in Jakarta, as well as officials from the MESCC and members of the Timor-Leste Education Attaché Office in Jakarta.
