by Malaysia, April 12, 2024 – The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, along with the Ambassador of Timor-Leste in Malaysia, Mrs. Joana Amaral, met, at the premises of the Timor-Leste Embassy in Malaysia, with Mrs. Dato Tiffanee Marie Lim, President of Limkokwing University, and Mrs. Marie Gilmour, representative of the Timor-Leste Group PLT.
In this meeting, Mrs. Dato Tiffanee informed about the courses offered by Limkokwing University and stated that her University is available to offer partial scholarships to Timorese students who wish to further their studies at Limkokwing University.
The Minister thanked Mrs. Dato Tiffanee and Mrs. Marie Gilmour for their willingness to support Timor-Leste in capacity-building in key areas and requested detailed information about the courses offered, as well as their costs, so that the Ministry can develop a plan to be presented to the Human Capital Development Fund Board of Directors.
