by Malaysia, April 12, 2024 – The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, Dr. José Honório, held a meeting with the Director and Vice-Director of the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA), an organization dedicated to promoting and developing cooperation among institutions and individuals involved in transnational education.
During this meeting, the Manager of the Africa-Europe Region, Mr. Goodwin Silver, gave a presentation on the objectives, activities, and support provided to other countries to enhance the quality of education and human resources through the development of educational curricula, training, and other necessary supports that countries require.
The Minister, during this meeting, thanked ITEA for their interest in providing support to Timor-Leste in the field of higher education, especially regarding curricula and human resources training, and requested that ITEA consider the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry for the implementation of some activities.
